Do you provide Goalkeeper Training?
Our Goalkeeper Academy is available at Every Session!! Saving goals- from shot stopping to dealing with crosses, distribution to organizing the defense. The responsibilities of the goalkeeper extend far beyond just standing between the posts. To be effective, they must participate in the prevention of the development of goal scoring chances inside and outside of the penalty area. Having to be mentally and tactically involved during the entire game no matter what the involvement. At the Victory Soccer Academy, goalkeepers will learn not only the technical skills needed to be successful but also tactical knowledge learned from playing in the goal in game like situations. All under the guidance of a specialized goalkeeper coach, with the emphases on coaching the player from in the goal and not from the sideline. Sessions will be age appropriate for our Jr.and Sr. Academy participants. A goalkeeper camp without the ability to create realistic game situations involving real strikers can produce practice goalkeepers. They may be able to put on a show, but could buckle when confronted with decision making during a live game. The ability to make the proper decisions, then apply the tactical knowledge along with automatic technical ability means the difference between success and picking the ball out of the back of the net.
